Prior to this project the Town of Pagosa Springs developed the downtown riverwalk trail system from Hot Springs Boulevard to Apache Street. Within this area a river crossing was missing to connect two segments of trail near 6th Street. This project provided connectivity with two separate trail segments for a total continuous trail length of 5,500 feet.

DES assisted the Town of Pagosa Springs with the procurement process of the new pedestrian bridge. Our surveyor performed site mapping of the pedestrian bridge area and provided construction layout. Our engineering team prepared design plans, technical specifications, and also provided construction services.
